Feldenkrais Method

A gentle yet powerful modality of bodywork which can help reduce stress, pain & discomfort and improve movement and performance. Developed by Moshe Feldenkrais, the method works with the whole person via the nervous system to investigate habits and patterns, and increase efficiency, strength and economy of movement. It can also improve quality of life, help recover from injury or surgery, help with learning difficulties, adapting to physical changes during pregnancy or those living in chronic conditions.

1:1 sessions are Functional Integration lessons (FI):  Individual lessons tailored to the client’s needs in hands-on lessons.

Group classes are Awareness Through Movement lessons (ATM): voice-led group classes.

The Feldenkrais Method can be useful for everyone, regardless of age and ability: those recovering from stroke and injury, people with arthritis, cerebral palsy, chronic pain, children with developmental issues, as well as for elite level performers, athletes, dancers, singers, actors, and more.

Feldenkrais sessions are provided by Marilla.

We hope to “make the impossible possible,
then easy, comfortable, pleasurable,
and finally aesthetically pleasing”.
